Popeyes Strives to Make Your Thanksgiving Hassle-Free with Its Cajun-Style Turkey.

With Thanksgiving approaching very quickly, if one is starting to panic about preparing a turkey for extended family, friends, and neighbors, there is a way out: Get a Popeyes Cajun turkey.

Popeyes wants you to know that Cajun-style turkey is back again in the third year for those who like their turkey Cajun-style. "This turkey is hand-rubbed and infused with signature Louisiana-style seasonings typical during the festive season, giving it an overwhelmingly rich taste," claimed the brand. Besides, their turkey is now also "a fit for any Thanksgiving dinner, not just for availability but also for the lizard-like, flavorful taste of Popeyes."

And wait for it: Not only is Popeyes cooking the turkey for you. It gets delivered with all the TLC. You simply have to thaw it, toss it in the oven, and offer it up for praise to the guests.

For thawing a turkey, Popeyes recommends carrying out two basic steps: cover the turkey then put inside the refrigerator for about 72 hours; or submerge the turkey in cold water, changing the water frequently until ready for further cooking. Heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large roasting pan fitted with a rack, place the turkey and pour off any extra juices right into the pan. Cover the whole thing with aluminum foil and place it on the very bottom rack in the oven for one and a half to two hours. Unwrap the turkey and continue cooking it for another thirty minutes after reheating it to reach the internal temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Bytehole, or waiting time, was what Popeyes offered between November 18 and 25 last year. This year, Popeyes rejoices in returning back with another important limited-time offering, the Big Box, with all the promises of Thanksgiving fertility. Customers will find either two pieces of hand-battered fried chicken with two sides and a buttermilk biscuit or three premium chicken tenders—which, in other words, is just another delicious start to Thanksgiving.
