The Swedish retailer H&M is about to launch a high-quality, long-lasting collection of baby and children's clothing; this clothing is made with skin-friendly, shape-retaining, and non-pilling materials.
H and M Adorables, which will make its debut on October 10, will yield a new label with Newborn essentials and gifts alongside eternally stylish foundational baby-essential pieces and sophisticated kidswear wardrobe gems designed with the concept that pieces can "be handed down through generations."
According to Sofia Löfstedt, chief designer and creative director of H and M Kids, "We can't wait to show you the new H and M Adorables, our premium kidswear concept." The new collection will make every best effort to withstand the coming seasons, with all pieces being created to a very high standard from the finest materials. The goal was driven by the desire to make pieces of really fine craftsmanship, with exquisite attention to detail and quality fabrics." "This new collection will present timeless styles while adapting each season for re-invention—the ultimate aim for the new line."
"We're very eager to see this label grow and the garments carried by generations of families."
The new label appeals to all four seasons and generations with its refined silhouettes and mostly neutral palette, along with subtle florals, playful graphics, and splashes of color.
The material accents in the collection include lightweight silk bodysuits, super-soft cashmere, and wool knitwear; organic cotton blouses with an inspired heritage design; waxed cotton jackets; and down puffer coats that are warm and snug.
Being part of the gamut of offerings alongside apparel and accessories, guests can choose from an eclectic, curated selection of luxe gift ideas, including ready-to-go gifts comprising knitted baby booties and rattling toys. Souvenirs in the spirit of mixed-and-matched combinations include socks bundles, knitted blankets, and cashmere bodysuits.
